Axolotl- the final project

The story:

• Lake Xochimilco then and now
• What can we learn from this?

The four cs:

• Cold Water
• Clean Water
• Calm Water
• deChlorinated Water

The Right Filter:

• Use a sponge filter to keep the water from moving to much

Food!:

• Axolotls can smell their food
• It should be soft and sink
• I don't use live food
• No bait worms or outside sources of food
• Blood worms, newt and salamander food, and river shrimp are good food.

Aquarium Friends:

• Ghost shrimp
• Snails
• No other fish
• Other Axolotls

Problems:

• Use big gravel

• water too warm- put in fridge
